Low Level Quests
Tormus Deepforge, Ironforge - Supplying the Front. Reward is the recipe for Copper Chain Vest, which is also a reasonably common drop, and therefore cheap at the AH. Deliver 6 Copper Axe and 6 Copper Chain Belt to Loch Modan. Requires: 72 copper, 6 weak flux, 12 linen cloth.

It is generally agreed that in WoW you can loot better drops than you can make for yourself, especially if you do instances. However, this isn't always true. If you keep up an appropriate profession, there are a few rare moments where you can be very well equipped with hand made items. Up to about 45, that is, although tailoring seems to be valuable to a higher level.

Okay. I decided to pick up engineering, Here's the guide that I created last night, trying to spend the least amount of gold I could. You will want to equip yourself and your friends as your skill rises. If you keep your skill at 25 plus five times your level then you will always be able to make items you can equip at their minimum level.
